Sea to Sky Wins Top Industry Award: Meeting Professionals International's Coveted 2005 Global Paragon Award

The company has been selected as Meeting Professionals International's 2005 Category 1 (Meetings/events with budgets up to US$1,000 per attendee) Global Paragon Award winner.

The first Canadian company to win a Paragon Award, Sea to Sky Meeting Management received this honour specifically for exceeding measurable objectives while facilitating the International Conference on Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering (OMAE 2004), held in Vancouver.

The 2005 Global Paragon Award winners were announced at the 2005 World Education Congress in Miami, Florida, held from July 10-12, 2005.

The Global Paragon Award recognizes meeting or event innovation and creativity in the following areas, taking into account professionalism, value, and credibility: goals and objectives; content; logistics/execution; and results. The Meeting Professionals International judges selected Sea to Sky Meeting Management's OMAE 2004 event for its brilliant execution against measurable, defined objectives. The judges concluded it served as a prime example of good ROI, outperforming every metric. They also commented that Sea to Sky's strategic approach to OMAE 2004 allowed for successful management of the conference, its finances, registration, marketing and PR, program content, logistics and evaluation.
