Team Leader and President - Sarah Lowis, CMP, CMM, BA
Sarah is the founder and President of Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc., 2005 winner of the Global Paragon Award, Category I, awarded by Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Practical experience, over the past twenty years, in Europe, Canada and the United States provides Sarah with a complete understanding of the complexities of national and international conference and event management. She leads a team of eight project managers and coordinators who provide conference and event management services to clients from around the world. Sarah is a member of the MPI Foundation Canada Board of Trustees, Past President of MPI BC Chapter and is the first person in British Columbia to achieve the Certified Meeting Manager designation (1999). She achieved her Certified Meeting Professional designation in 1997 and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, French Major, from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
In addition to English, Sarah speaks French.
Project Director - Ian Holliday, BA
Ian directs the Sea to Sky team and oversees and manages our client projects. He has over fifteen years experience in planning and staging conferences, events, trade shows and meeting and has worked with a diverse range of clients bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to the team. Ian started his career in Ottawa working with an association management company managing several associations before moving to Vancouver to continue his career in conference and event management. Ian has taught Event & Conference Management courses at a private institution and prior to a career in meeting planning, he spent ten years in sales and sales management. Ian has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Economics) from the University of Waterloo.

Rosemary Casson
Rosemary has over twenty years combined Sales and Sponsorship experience in the Tourism and
Conference Management industries. Her diverse career has spanned Europe, the United States and Canada and
has included clients in the travel, financial, and medical industries, to name just a few. With the ability

Sandy Becker, BA – Tourism
As Project Manager, Sandy leads a team of Project Coordinators and Assistants. She has event management and trade show experience working in Germany, the United States and Canada, and has lead and is leading several projects for Sea to Sky. Sandy is fluent in German and English and has a basic understanding of French and Spanish. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Tourism and has Hotel Specialty training.

Sherri Corrie, MPA, BA
Sherri has over fifteen years of experience in research, administration, and project management, in the event management, educational and small business sectors. Her varied background supports Sea to Sky in the areas of business development and project management. She holds a Master Degree in Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Laval University. In addition to English, Sherri speaks French.

Kazia Ekelund,

Kazia has been working in the hotel and conference industry over seven years. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Tourism Management and a Resort & Hotel Management Diploma from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, B.C. With her strong logistical background and in her role as Project Manager, Kazia assists the Project Director with Sea to Sky's national and international conferences.
Registration and Housing Manager - Glenda Freeman
Glenda brings to Sea to Sky over ten years of experience working in the conference planning industry. With a strong background in Registration and Housing, she also has an in depth understanding of overall conference coordination. As Registration Manager, Glenda is responsible for supporting the Project Managers/Director with all aspects of conference and event management including registration, housing and logistics for local national and international events.
Accountant - Lydia Eggers,
BCom
Lydia is responsible for Sea to Sky's accounting function. She has over twenty years of experience in providing management and clients with detailed and accurate accounting reports and project costs, in support of strategic decision making. She has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Economics and Accounting. In addition to English, Lydia speaks German.

Kaitlin’s experience includes managing client conferences for a private medical company. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology) from Wilfrid Laurier University and studied Meeting and Convention Management at Ryerson University. As a Project Coordinator, Kaitlin is responsible for supporting the Project Managers/Director with all aspects of conference and event management including registration, housing, and logistics for local, national, and international events.

Katrina Sutela, Bachelor of Hospitality Management
Katrina has been working in the Tourism industry for over nine years including four years for a local
destination management company. She graduated from Vancouver Community College with a
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management and is fluent in Finnish. As project coordinator, she
supports the other project coordinators and managers with all aspects of conference and event
management including registration, housing and logistics; for local, national and international
conferences.

Alexandra Limousin, MA
Alexandra's experience includes working in France, Belgium and Germany as a Communication Specialist and Public Relations Coordinator. Alexandra managed press relations and organized press conferences for a Paris based tourist attraction, and supported the sales team of a large mutinational company providing communications expertise and managing participation in various tradeshows. She holds a Master of Art in Communication, Culture and Media from Coventry University in the UK and is fluent in French and German and understands basic Spanish. As a Project Coordinator, she supports the other project coordinators and managers with all aspects of conference and event management including registration, housing and logistics for local, national and international events. |
