We are pleased to invite you to the 28th International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering (OMAE 2009). Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc. has been appointed to handle registration for OMAE 2009.
GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Online registration will allow you the opportunity to make changes and additions to your registration as needed until Wednesday May 20, 2009. All participants, including speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and committee members must register for the OMAE 2009 Conference.
AUTHOR / PRESENTER REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
In order to have your paper published in the proceedings; authors must register and pay by March 31, 2009. One author is allowed to present up to two papers at the conference.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES
The registration fee category is determined by when payment is received. All fees are in US dollars.

Non-Member registrants receive an one year free ASME membership with the conference registration.
Member Rate is applicable to a member of ASME or any of the OMAE conference co-sponsoring organizations. Click here for the list of co-sponsoring organizations.
Student Rate A minimum of one author must be registered at the full conference rate unless all authors are students. In the case where at least one author is not a student, and only the student is attending and presenting, the student must register at the full conference rate. Proof of student status is required to confirm the Student rate. Proof consists of a copy of the student's ID or a letter from the institution's registrar verifying student status. Documentation should be sent to Carolina Lopez at Sea to Sky Meeting Management via the contact information listed at the bottom of the page.

Author/Member & Non-Member: Scientific Sessions – Welcome Reception – Delegate Bag – CD – Banquet – Awards Luncheon – Technical Session Organizers Lunch
Students: Scientific Sessions – Welcome Reception – Delegate Bag – CD – Awards Luncheon – Technical Session Organizers Lunch. Banquet is not included but may be purchased at an additional fee.
Daily Attendance: Scientific Sessions – Delegate Bag – CD – Social Function on day of attendance. If attending on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, the Banquet is not included but may be purchased at an additional fee. If you wish to attend more than one day, you will be required to register for the full Conference.
Accompanying Person: Banquet – Welcome Reception – Little Circle Tour – High Tea
Receipts/Invoice
A receipt/invoice will be emailed when you register online. If you wish to pay by cheque or money order please use the receipt/invoice to pay from. Once payment has been received an updated receipt will be sent via email for your records.
Those pre-registrants who do not pay their registration fee until they arrive on-site at the conference, will be charged the on-site registration fee. All payments must be made in US dollars.
Deadline
The deadline for pre-conference registration is Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Registrations will also be accepted on-site.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing to Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc. at carolina@seatoskymeetings.com. Refunds will be made as follows:
- Refund less a $200 administration fee for cancellations received by March 31, 2009
- As of April 1, 2009 there will be no refunds
A substitute delegate may be nominated at any time up to May 15, 2009, no substitutions will be permitted as of May 16, 2009.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
All fees are due in US dollars
- Cheque or money order payable to OMAE 2009, c/o Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc. in US Dollars and drawn on an American Bank
- Credit Card – Visa and MasterCard accepted. Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc. will appear on your credit card statement.

Dietary Requests
The Conference will ensure that all dietary requirements are accounted for at Conference Food and Beverage functions. Please identify your dietary requirements during the registration process so that we can make arrangements in advance.
Smoking
Please note that the Conference has been designated as non-smoking. In Hawaii smoking is not permitted by law in public buildings, on public transit, in shopping malls, and in most restaurants, pubs, nightclubs and casinos.
