APSH Fellowships

Asian-Pacific Society of Hypertension Young Investigator Fellowships

To coincide with the Scientific Meeting in Vancouver 2010, The Asian Pacific Society of Hypertension (APSH) is pleased to announce the establishment of the APSH Young Investigator Fellowships. The fellowships have been created to aid young investigators from APSH Member societies in attending this important Meeting. The fellowship consists of US $1000 and complimentary registration for ISH 2010. There are 20 fellowships available.

All applicants for the APSH Young Investigator Fellowships must submit an abstract to be considered for the award. The authors of the top 6 abstracts will be selected to compete for the Best Oral Presentation Prize (US $1000) during the meeting. Click here for a list of abstract categories. Please select the "APSH Fellowships" check box when submitting your abstract to have it considered for this award.

The APSH will nominate three judges to oversee the oral presentations and select a winner.

Rules & Regulations

  • To be considered a young investigator you must be less than 40 years of age as of September 26, 2010 (the first day of ISH 2010).
  • No more than four (4) fellowships will be awarded to any one member society.
  • At least three (3) countries will be represented during the oral presentations.
