Jiri Widimsky Sr. Award

To coincide with the Scientific Meeting in Vancouver 2010, the Czech Foundation of Hypertension is pleased to announce the Jirí Widimský Sr. Award will be presented at ISH 2010. The award has been presented at ISH and ESH meetings since 2002 to young investigators from developing countires. Recipients of the award will receive a certificate and a cheque for $2,000 USD.

All those under 35 years of age who submitted an abstract to ISH 2010 will be considered for the Jirí Widimský Sr. Award. The committee is currently reviewing the submitted abstracts.

The Jirí Widimský Sr. Award will be handed out during the ISH Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, September 29 from 16:00-17:30 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Rules & Regulations

To be considered a young investigator you must be less than 35 years of age as of September 26, 2010 (the first day of ISH 2010).
The recipient may not have received any other award from ISH 2010.
