OMAE 2017 attracted researchers, engineers, managers, technicians and students from the scientific and industrial communities from around the world who specialize in offshore mechanics and arctic engineering. The program provided intense learning opportunities through its technical program that presented over 900 technical presentations in 13 symposium divisions, supported by plenary sessions, exhibits, short courses, Outreach Team sessions, and a full social program that highlighted the culture of Norway.
