Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Project Assistants
Looking at a Sea to Sky job description, you will see words like “project management experience,” “effective communicator,” and “attention to detail.” You will need to be computer literate, be willing to travel, and be able to demonstrate that you are a team player. Your list of responsibilities, on the conference and event management side, will include speaker management, logistics, registration, marketing, sponsorship / exhibition management, housing, finances, tours and special events, committee management, and public relations. On the association management side, you will be involved in member servicing, board management, education initiatives, strategic planning, operations, and special projects, to list only a few responsibilities.
