On-Site ProgramOMAE 2016 attracted researchers, engineers, managers, technicians and students from the scientific and industrial communities from around the world who specialize in offshore mechanics and arctic engineering. The program provided intense learning opportunities through its technical program that presented over 600 papers in 13 symposium divisions, supported by plenary sessions, exhibits, short courses, Outreach Team sessions, and a full social program that highlighted the culture of Korea.

With Sea to Sky as our partner in organizing our annual OMAE conference, the event runs like a well-oiled machine. They understand our objectives, know personally our members, and have a knack at assisting each of our Host Cities showcase their finest. Starting in Vancouver in 2004 and most recently in Korea in 2016, Sea to Sky provides continuity to our conference, but also the expertise to identify new ways to improve. That is one of the reasons our attendees overwhelming rate the conferences highly and keep coming back!
