The annual Canada’s West Marketplace trade show is a partnership between Travel Alberta and Destination British Columbia, and is an annual forum for promoting Western Canada tourism products to international and domestic tour operators and buyers. Each year, the trade show alternates locations between Alberta and BC. This three-day, four-night event combines appointments, social events, networking opportunities, and pre/post familiarization tours into an intensive, but highly productive industry forum. The trade show is divided into two separate appointment sessions – one for Alberta Sellers and one for BC Sellers. There are 50 appointments per session, each 10 minutes in length, with a two-minute changeover between appointments.

Area of Responsibility

Housing, Registration, Logistics, Volunteer Management, FAM and Activity Tours
