Sarah Lowis added CAE to CMP, CMM and BA

Published on June 6, 2018

North Vancouver, BC – Sarah Lowis, President, Sea to Sky Meeting and Association Management Inc. received her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE). The CAE is one of the highest professional credentials in the association management field. Sarah successfully completed the CAE examination administered nationwide in May 2018. She will be honoured, along with other new CAE recipients, at the 2018 CSAE National Conference in Ottawa.

“Completing the CAE was an investment for my company, but more importantly, for our client associations that are facing new and diverse challenges. After having completed five online courses that delved into the strategic and operational aspects of association management, my knowledge is deeper and broader, and my approach to new issues will now be guided by a very strategic decision-making process. Perhaps a benefit that I didn’t anticipate was my new network of classmates from across Canada – even though we didn’t meet in person, I now have access to a very knowledgeable group of association executives. I look forward to meeting them in Ottawa!”

Sea to Sky provides association management services to provincial, national and international associations that are geared to providing the tools and support needed to grow the association, provide stronger leadership and achieve more for the members.

The CAE is an internationally recognized designation built on 44 competencies that demonstrate the essential skills of efficient and effective not-for-profit management. The CAE Program serves to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate those who have acquired and have demonstrated knowledge essential to the practice of association management.
